Lancaster, Pennsylvania Metalcore act dating to March 2003. Originally fronted by Jon Hershey, the band then pulled in Josh McManness. C.I. Records released the EP 'Looks Fragile After All' during 2004. Bassist Jordan Tuscan would be replaced by Dustin Davidson. Signing to Solid State Records the Adam Dutkiewicz produced 'Thrill Seeker' album, recorded at Dark Horse Studios in Franklin, Tennessee, arrived in November 2005.

AUGUST BURNS RED put in US Winter shows throughout December 2005 alongside REFLUX, ED GEIN and ANIMOSITY. The band scheduled June 2006 US dates in alliance with ZAO, BECOMING THE ARCHETYPE and DEMON HUNTER. The group formed up with the 'Purevolume Silver Bullet' tour in August and September 2006 ranked alongside HASTE THE DAY, SCARY KIDS SCARING KIDS and INHALE EXHALE.

The band lined up alongside FROM A SECOND STORY WINDOW, SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY, CHASING VICTORY and LIFE IN YOUR WAY across the USA throughout April and May 2007.

AUGUST BURNS RED's second album was crafted at Rebel Waltz Studio in Franklin with producer Tue Madsen for issue in June 2007. In the USA this set sold over 9,000 copies in its first week of release.

In February 2009 the retrospective EP, 'Lost Messengers: The Outtakes' including a cover version of AC/DC's 'To Those About To Rock', was released. The band's third full-length album, 'Constellations', was released on 14th July via Solid State Records.

AUGUST BURNS RED undertook a U.S. headlining U.S. tour from 10th July to 8th August, being joined on the 24 city trek by BLESSTHEFALL, ENTER SHIKARI, ALL SHALL PERISH and IWRESTELEDABEARONCE.
