Assembled during 2005, Cincinnati , Ohio based THE ALLKNOWING was established by former HEATHEN and GRIP INC. bassist Jason Vie Brooks. Fronting the band would be Billy Cox of SOUTHBOUND. In September 2006 MORBID ANGEL and HATE ETERNAL bassist/vocalist Jared Anderson guested on a cover version of MOTȪRHEAD's 'Ace Of Spades' for inclusion on the debut album 'Ours For The Taking'. As it transpired this session was to be Anderson's last recorded performance before he died on October 14th.

THE ALLKNOWING were set to support TEMPLE OF BRUTALITY on nationwide US dates in March 2007. However, these dates were cancelled, with a statement reading "unfortunate circumstances landed the agent in the hospital and unable to complete his duties in securing signed contracts, deposits, and proper advancement."

In 2009 Jason Vie Brooks forged LORENZO, a modern rock band featuring vocalist Marko Lorenzo in alliance with drummer Steve Jacobs, of FORBIDDEN and MANMADEGOD, and guitarist Ira Black, from VICIOUS RUMORS, LIZZY BORDEN, HEATHEN and METAL CHURCH.
