Unveiled in 2009, LORENZO is a modern rock band featuring vocalist Marko Lorenzo in alliance with three veterans of the Thrash Metal scene in bassist Jason Vie Brooks, of GRIP INC. and HEATHEN, drummer Steve Jacobs, of FORBIDDEN and MANMADEGOD, and guitarist Ira Black, from VICIOUS RUMORS, LIZZY BORDEN, HEATHEN and METAL CHURCH.

The band made its live debut opening for SLAUGHTER On 19th June 2009 at the Riverstar Entertainment Complex in Cincinnati, Ohio. The following day, LORENZO was featured on the Golliath Entertainment 'MMA Big Show' mixed martial arts fighting event syndicated to over 80 million homes by Time Warner in the U.S.A. and Europe. The group was subsequently named the official 'MMA Big Show' residency band. 

LORENZO's live third show was opening for the STONE TEMPLE PILOTS on 8th July at the sold-out PNC Pavilion in Cincinnati.
