REST IN PIECES 1987 debut, 'My Rage', was released on the independent Californian One Step Ahead label with only 1200 in total being pressed. For 1990's 'Under My Skin', issued by Roadracer, bassist Josh Barker was supplanted by MAYHEM, YOUTH OF TODAY and AGNOSTIC FRONT's Craig Setari. The band took a deliberate diversion away from their Hardcore origins with 'Under My Skin' toward a more Rock n' Roll edge.

Vocalist / drummer Armand 'Carmine' Majidi shared his time with SICK OF IT ALL although would eventually join that band full time.
