Pioneering, NYHC act 25 TA LIFE started out as INSIDE KNOWLEDGE during the early nineties, first making their presence felt as 25 TA LIFE on the recording front with a 1993 demo tape. The group had been founded by former AGNOSTIC FRONT roadie Rick Healy, also operating Punk outfit COMIN' CORRECT in parallel. Joining Healy would be guitarist Fred Mesk, bass player Mike Heinzer and drummer Seth. Guitarist Beto would later join MADBALL.

The German We Bite label put out the 'Keepin It Real' album in 1996, followed up by a 10" EP 'Strength Through Unity: The Spirit Remains' on Triple Crown. During 1998 the band issued split 7" singles shared with MORNING AGAIN, on Good Life Recordings, and SKARHEAD, 'Make It Work', via Triple Crown, the latter pressed in clear, yellow, orange and red vinyl. The full-length album 'Friendship Loyalty Commitment' arrived in 1999.

In mid 2004 former 25 TA LIFE bassist Dave Urban joined forces with ex-BLITZSPEER drummer Brian Essing and vocalist/bassist Chris Reece in a new project entitled RESURGE. That same year Rick Healy forged HEALS NOTHING.

Back To Basics issued the 'Hellbound Misery Torment' album in 2005. The group toured Europe throughout October 2006 backed by AGENTS OF MAN.
