1997's 'Mirror Image' was the debut solo outing by the distinguished AOR veteran Mark Mangold, a man who has made his mark on the genre with such acts as VALHALLA, AMERICAN TEARS, TOUCH, DRIVE SHE SAID and FLESH AND BLOOD. Mangold, alongside MICHAEL BOLTON with whom he has also worked, is also co-credited as song-writer for CHER's hit 'I Found Someone'.

Mangold pulls in his FLESH AND BLOOD colleague (and SAVATAGE and MEGADETH guitarist) Al Pitrelli as well as DRIVE SHE SAID's Al Fritsch. Mangold also founded THE SIGN with ZEBRA's Randy Jackson, and MYSTIC HEALER.
