Biography

HEYDAY was a New York based melodic Rock act. After working initially with a group called THE PACK in 1989, ex-DICTATORS, SHAKIN' STREET and MANOWAR guitarist Ross The Boss formed HEYDAY in New York alongside erstwhile TOUR DE FORCE front man Charlie 'Chali' Cayte. The singer also fronted VAN HELSING. Erik Boyd of MESSANO supplied bass with Richie Fazio on drums. HEYDAY released a traditional Hard Rock album at a time when Grunge seemed to be at its peak.

HEYDAY's album was released in September 1994 and features covers of VAN MORRISON's 'Brown Eyed Girl' and the old STOOGES chestnut 'Search And Destroy'. In early 1995 the band opened a selection of shows in the south eastern states for WARRIOR SOUL.
