OCTOBER THORNS drummer Joe 'Jofu' Cardillo would join ZANDELLE during 2003. Bassist David Zablidowsky would fire up his own side project Z02, work with TRANS SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA and for JOAN JETT. In another high profile move, singer Paul LaPaca joined up with the touring band for CHRIS CAFFERY, guitarist for SAVATAGE, TRANS SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA and DR. BUTCHER, in April 2005. LaPaca would also handle guitar duties for ZANDELLE and keyboards for Z02.

In mid 2006 it was announced that Paul LaPlaca was to head up Progressive Metal band THE VOID, alongside guitarist Lenny Frog and bass player Joey Bones. Pre-production for a debut album commenced in October with recording commencing in November at DCity Studios on Long Island, New York. Manning drums for these sessions would be the YNGWIE MALMSTEEN and ARK credited John Macaluso. The new group made its live debut on November 12th at the Hook in Brooklyn as the opener for ZERO HOUR.
