New Jersey's DEADLY BLESSING weighed in with an eponymous, three track EP for Ann Boleyn's New Renaissance label. A full-length album, 'Ascend From The Cauldron', was delivered the following year, this opus recorded by a line-up of vocalist Ski (a.k.a. Norman Kiersznowski), guitarists Tom Bach (Tom Umba) and Tony Kerr, bassist Nick Mitchell (a.k.a. Nick Douglas) and drummer Wayne Kellie (Wayne Sigmund). For the 1990 'Psycho Drama' EP the band had pulled in Larry Betson on vocals. Nick Mitchell went on to work with German Metal queen DORO, first featuring on her 1998 'Love Me In Black' album.

DEADLY BLESSING announced a return in 2004, singer Ski also striking up another band project dubbed THY BLESSING in parallel. Meantime, Christian Thrash Metal band TEMPLE OF BLOOD recorded a cover version of the DEADLY BLESSING underground classic 'Deliver Us From Evil' in October. This version featured vocals provided by DEADLY BLESSING's own vocalist Ski.

In April 2005 Hellion Records compiled archive DEADLY BLESSING live and demo material for the compilation album 'An Eye To The Past'.

Singer Ski also featured as a guest on PALE HORSE's 2006 opus 'In The Theater Of My Mind'. Meantime, DEADLY BLESSING's version of LIZZY BORDEN's 'Notorious' was included on the tribute album, entitled 'Baptized In Blood' for release via Metallicarchangel Records.

Following DEADLY BLESSING's at the Boricua Metal Fest III in Cayey, Puerto Rico on November 11th singer Ski announced his departure stating "I will now carry the torch in my new American Christian power metal band called FAITH FACTOR". Band members subsequently revealed Ski had resigned his post by email.

DEADLY BLESSING bassist NICK DOUGLAS issued his debut solo album 'Through The Pane' in November 2006 through Painkiller Records. As 2007 broke, DEADLY BLESSING announced the addition of singer Stephen Childs to the group's ranks. The new unit recorded a four song demo that same year.

A single, 'Utopia In Flames', was distributed in July 2008.
