CYCLE OF PAIN is headed up by BLACK LABEL SOCIETY bassist John DeServio, working with vocalist/rhythm guitarist Gregg Locascio, the DORO credited lead guitarist Joe Taylor and drummer Rich Monica.

The self-titled debut album from was released on 21st April 2009 via Reform Records/Rock Ridge Music. The sessions featured guest appearances by guitarist Zakk Wylde, of BLACK LABEL SOCIETY and OZZY OSBOURNE, drummer Ray Luzier, of KORN, drummer Brian Tichy, of BILLY IDOL, Sen Dog, of CYPRESS HILL, Russ-T Cobb, Hugo Ferreira and Marcus Ratzenboeck, both of TANTRIC, Clip Payne, of P-FUNK, Burton C. Bell, of FEAR FACTORY, and Russell Allen, from SYMPHONY X.
