Biography

New Jersey Heavy Metal band ASYLUM operated during 1987. The group members, vocalist Craig Edgington, bassist Chris Eike and drummer Jeff Stevenson, had evolved from antecedent outfits MOLTEN and METAL MESSIAH. Chris Eike subsequently journeyed on through LABYRINTH, MIDNIGHT DIVINE and FATAL CHARM before joining Progressive Power Metal band AUTUMN SILENCE to issue the 1991 'Winter's Calling' demo. Both Eike and AUTUMN SILENCE guitarist Rich Logan would also busy themselves with side venture THE RICK LOGAN PROJECT throughout 1994.

During the late nineties Chris Eike would work with BROKEN PEACE, on the 1995 EP 'Remorseful Knowledge', PRIMA DONNA, FINNEUS GAUGE, appearing on the albums 'More Once More' and 'One Inch Of The Fall', and THE HAND FARM. In 2004 Eike, then operating on the live circuit with STONEWATER GROOVE, recorded session work for MASTERMIND.
