Biography

Minneapolis Progressive Metal band VOX TEMPUS was created by erstwhile EQUINOX members guitarist Ray Mantor and bassist Jim Turba, pulling in ex-AMETHYST and MILLENIUM singer Dan Reed and the TAKARA credited Eric Ragno on keyboards. EQUINOX drummer Eric Althaus worked with the formative band unit until early 2002. Drums on 2004 demos would be handled by former DAVID LEE ROTH man GREGG BISSONETTE, recording his tracks at Think Tank Studios with ERIK NORLANDER at the production helm. The band signed to Progman Records for the North American release of their debut album 'In the Eye Of Time'.

In 2006 Eric Ragno involved himself in a Los Angeles Progressive Rock project CHINA BLUE involving SHY and SIAM singer TONY MILLS, ALIBI guitarist Michael Riesenbeck, bassist Rev Jones of BLACK SYMPHONY and the MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP and drummer Zane Peterson of MALICIOUS and CONDITIONED RESPONSE.

Eric Ragno sessioned for album recordings by THE STORM and TWO FIRES guitarist Josh Ramos' project RAMOS in 2006 and also featured on AMERICAN ANGEL sessions.

VOX TEMPUS made a return in 2008 for Angelmilk Records with the album 'In The Eye Of Time' re-released in November. That same year Ragno Parga headed up the SAVAGE PARADISE studio act, this unit featuring ex-BLACK SABBATH vocalist TONY MARTIN, guitarist MARIO PARGA, ALCATRAZZ bassist Tim Luce and drummer Kevin Valentine. Subsequently Martin was replaced by erstwhile RAINBOW singer GRAHAM BONNET.
