Biography

New Orleans, Louisiana Metalcore outfit VALUME NOB, forged in New Orleans during 2003, comprised the former BILE and GRAVEYARD RODEO frontman Marc Brignac, guitarist Frey Thieler, ex-VICTORIAN BLITZ, DOWN and CROWBAR bassist Kirk Windstein with Sid Montz, another VICTORIAN BLITZ and CROWBAR veteran, on the drums. The band self-financed a 2004 album 'The Most High'. An extended version of 'The Most High' was delivered through Crash Music Inc. in October, this re-release adding two live bonus tracks and a half hour DVD interview with the band.

VALUME NOB set 'Residue And Bones' as the title of their next opus, to be recorded at American Studios in Los Angeles in June 2005 with engineer Warren Riker. UK dates, partnered with THE INBREDS and AXIS OF EVIL, were announced for October. For UK touring April 2006 VALUME NOB was joined by Kevin Bond from SUPERJOINT RITUAL and CROWBAR on bass guitar, temporarily replacing Kirk Windstein. Subsequently Sammy Molina took on four-string duties.

The band teamed up with CROWBAR for US dates in May 2007. Molina and Thieler forged SUICIDE WAR in league with BLACK LABEL SOCIETY drummer Craig Nunenmacher.
