Biography

Chicago Death Meta "Pussycore"l combo EYEGOUGER, created in January 1990, comprised singer "Testical Pounder" (a.k.a. Ron Guin), guitarist "Pussy Pounder" (Preston Schrewsbury), bassist "Gene Scrotosak" (Erik Micek) and drummer "Blood Spunker" (John Tolczyk of IMPULSE MANSLAUGHTER). Both Schrewsbury and Micek were also active members of DISINTER.

Initially the band featured guitarist Nipple Cruncher (Vance Campbell of SPIRITUAL DECAY and EXTREMACY) and Dave Ingram on bass for recording of the opening demo 'Buff A (Corpse)', recorded in the Spring of 1990. With Ingranm's relocation to the UK, subsequently joining BENEDICTION, the band enrolled Erik Micek as replacement. EYEGOUGER then released a 7" single 'Ass Rotor' on Nuclear Blast Records. More changes found Micek replaced by "Rectum Wrecker" (Mike Legros) for a further demo 'Pornus Grind' and the 'Ass Attack' recordings.

EYEGOUGER put in a reunion show at the 'Milwaukee Metal Fest' in 2003. Schrewsbury would hold further credits with LEDFOOT, KILL, SPIRITUAL DECAY and EXTREMACY whilst LegRos went on to JUNGLE ROT, NACHTMYSTIUM and NOVEMBER'S DOOM.
