It was announced in December 2008 that guitarist Andreas Kisser, of SEPULTURA, vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens, of JUDAS PRIEST, BEYOND FEAR, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN and ICED EARTH, drummer Jimmy DeGrasso, from ALICE COOPER and MEGADETH, and bassist David Ellefson, F5 and MEGADETH, would be touring Chile between 22nd and 27th January 2009 for five shows, in Santiago, Valparaiso, Concepcion, Puerto Montt and Antofagasta, under the collective name HAIL!

For their debut show, on Thursday, 22nd January at Rock & Guitarras in Santiago, HASIL! performed a set comprising 'Ace of Spades' by MOTÖRHEAD, 'Territory' by SEPULTURA, 'Symphony of Destruction' by MEGADETH, 'Grinder' by JUDAS PRIEST, 'Fucking Hostile' and 'Walk' by PANTERA, 'Balls To The Walls' by ACCEPT, 'Neon Knights' by BLACK SABBATH, 'Wrathchild' by IRON MAIDEN, 'The Green Manalishi' and 'Metal Gods' by JUDAS PRIEST, 'Peace Sells' by MEGADETH, 'Paranoid' by BLACK SABBATH and 'Refuse/Resist' from SEPULTURA.

European concerts were conducted in May. HAIL! announced Scandinavian shows for September.
