Led by Turkish vocalist Demoness Ipek, the only surviving founder member of Florida based WYKKED WYTCH. Ipek had issued two Pop albums in Turkey prior to studying Opera at the Frankfurt Music Conservatory before reloacting to the USA. The band, which blends, Death, Black and Gothic Metal, dates back to their early nineties in Philadelphia and initially included guitarist Mark Warlock, bass player Barry Myers and drummer Harry Ketterer. A debut release 'Something Wykked This Way Comes' surfacing on Ipek's own Cauldron label in North America and was licensed to Demolition Records in the UK.

A brief run of West Coast shows in the summer of 1997 had WYKKED WYTCH hooked up with NAPALM DEATH and MALEVOLENT CREATION. However, the band splintered and would go into hiatus until Ipek resurrected WYKKED WYTCH with an all new line-up in 1999 comprising guitarist / bass player David, keyboard player Salvatore and PAIN CONTROL drummer John Rae. Former members Warlock and Ketterer resurfaced in Death Metal band CARNIVEAN.

The band's 2000 album 'Angelic Violence' was recorded in Italy and produced by Kit Woolven. Interest in WYKKED WYTCH had grown sufficiently by this stage for Demolition to re-issue the first album with an extra two tracks. European touring to promote the records, once again handled in Europe by Demolition, had the band lending support to the 'Hell Comes To Your Town' tour spearheaded by KREATOR, DESTRUCTION and SODOM.

The band's previous bassist Thamuz would rejoin WYKKED WYTCH for recording of their 2002 album 'Cursed Destiny'. Guitarist Gio Geraca also enrolled as a new member. WYKKED WITCH cut demos during late 2002 featuring ICED EARTH/ex-DEATH man Richard Christy on session drums. By mid 2003 the band, now with Steve Brubaker on drums, was in the studio cutting a new album 'Nefret' with producer Jeremy Staska. An extensive round of European shows in February of 2005 found the band packaged with headliners CARPATHIAN FOREST together with TSJUDER and E-FORCE. The band then hooked up with the roving 'No Mercy' festivals across Europe the following month, sharing a billing with SIX FEET UNDER, NILE, DARK FUNERAL, DISBELIEF, DYING FETUS and CATARACT. Acting as live drummer would be Koos Vandervelde from Dutch Speed Metal band FORCEFIELD.

Toward the close of the year the band laid down demo tracks 'The Awakening' and 'Beneath Our Skin' at Redroom Recorders in Tampa, Forida with engineer Mark Prator and being mastered by Jim Morris. In March 2006 WYKKED WYTCH contracted with UK based label SixSixSix Records, owned by CRADLE OF FILTH bassist Dave Pybus, to record fourth album, at first branded as 'The Awakening' but subsequently switched to 'Memories Of A Dying Whore'. However, the band parted ways with SixSixSix Records, causing a delay in its release.

WYKKED WYTCH teamed up with HANZEL UND GRETYL and BELLA MORTE on the US 'Oktötenfest' tour in October prior to a union with BELPHEGOR and SETHERIAL for European dates in November. The band was added to the 2007 European tour commencing March 31st at Planet Music in Vienna, Austria featuring MOONSPELL, NAPALM DEATH, BEHEMOTH, ROOT and DEW-SCENTED. However, they then pulled out of this trek.

In August 2008 WYKKED WYTCH recorded a cover version of the EVANESCENCE hit 'Bring Me To Life' for download via iTunes.The track was recorded by Matt LaPlant and Gus Rios at Bieler Bros. Studios in Pompano Beach, Florida with mixing and mastering handled by Eric Rachel at Trax East Studios in New Jersey.

Guitarist Gio Geraca left the band in February 2009 after a six-year run to join UPON INFLICTION and also work on solo venture EVIL AMIDST. Later that year Geraca sessioned for MALEVOLENT CREATION.
