Biography
Tampa, Florida-based grindcore act SUCCESS WILL WRITE APOCALYPSE ACROSS THE SKY, created in 2006, featured former members of BODIES IN THE GEARS OF THE APPARATUS, guitarists Ian Sturgill and Aaron Haines, along with vocalist John Collett from DEHUMANIZED. The band was rounded out originally by FILTH PORN bassist Chris Woodall and the AMON and LEPROSY credited Mike Petrak on drums. Jesse Jolly, a veteran of AMON, AFTER DEATH, DIABOLIC, CRIMSON MASSACRE, BLASTMASTERS, EVIXION and PROMETHEAN HORDE, then enrolled on bass. Debello Recordings issued the EP 'Subhuman Empire' in July 2007.
A debut album, 'The Grand Partition and the Abrogation of Idolatry', recorded in June 2008, featured Mike Heller, of MALIGNANCY, on drums. Shortly after recording both Mike Petrak and Jesse Jolly exited. Replacements were located swiftly in drummer Pete Lamb, bassist Matt Simpson and samplist Jen Muse.
The band together with GOATWHORE, DAATH, ABYSMAL DAWN and ABIGAIL WILLIAMS teamed up for the 'Conquer & Curse' tour 2009 summer US live trek throughout June and into August.
