Biography

Florida symphonic Black Metal act LUNAR REIGN would see their 2001 demo sessions distributed across Europe by the French Forgotten Wisdom Productions. The group had its roots in a 1998 duo comprising erstwhile TYRANTS OF THE FLESH and BURNT CHURCH man Spectral with drummer Torrid. Upon completion of a four song demo Victor M. joined on bass and Atrophus on guitar. A further demo, entitled 'Arcane Lust', surfaced in 1999 after which LUNAR REIGN signed to the Californian based Largactyl Records for a proposed album. However, due to the owner of this label's incarceration in prison this record failed to materialise. Losing Victor M. but gaining keyboard player Elixium the band set about gigging. Progress was stalled though when Torrid opted out in 2000.

In May of 2002 Spectral relinquished lead vocal duties to concentrate on bass guitar as Atrophous took on vocal responsibilities. LUNAR REIGN pulled in new guitarist Tyranny in June of 2002, boosting their line up further with the enrollment that September of new frontman Ischiron and guitarist Magnus.
