DIE HAPPY have strong connections with the controversial Christian Thrash Metal act VENGEANCE RISING with vocalist Robin Kyle Basuri, guitarists Larry Farkas and Doug Thieme with drummer Glenn Mancaruso all being former members. Handling bass for the debut 1992 album would be Roger Martin of VENGEANCE RISING, his place subsequently taken by GREG CHAISSON. The band's new bassist had a pedigree with STEELER, SURGICAL STEEL, BRITTON and BADLANDS as well as having a released a solo record. Chaisson also enjoyed a fleeting tenure with the OZZY OSBOURNE band.
