Originally founded in Colorado Springs during 1997 WRETCHED LEGACY, comprising a formative line up of Rick Nickol on lead vocals, Scott Evan on guitar, Steve Kingsolver on bass and Mike Scoggins on the drums, offered a combination of Death Metal mixed with traditional old school Metal influences. The following year a relocation to Denver found Nickol and Evan joined by a freash rhythm section of bassist Randy Ruble and Joe Rioux on drums, subsequently being complemented by second guitarist Brian Olson. In this incarnation WRETCHED LEGACY debuted live in January of 1999. Their April 2003 demo 'Forever Doomed' witnessed the return of Scoggins to the drum stool.
