Former drummer for DEATH and ICED EARTH Richard Christy announced the new project CHARRED WALLS OF THE DAMNED in early 2009. Working with producer Jason Suecof, Christy recorded not only drums but guitar parts as well.

Christy recorded tracks at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida utilising the SADUS, TESTAMENT, DEATH and SEBASTIAN BACH credited Steve DiGiorgio on bass. Tim 'Ripper' Owens, of JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN and BEYOND FEAR, supplied vocals. Jason Suecof also tracked guitar parts.
