Biography

California based VIOLET'S DEMISE comprised singer ONI LOGAN, previously involved with Florida's DEFIANCE, briefly a member of ex-KEEL guitarist MARC FERRARI's act FERRARI and LYNCH MOB in union with ex-DIO guitarist Rowan Robertson. The latter had joined DIO in July 1989 at the tender age of seventeen, appearing on the 'Lock Up The Wolves' album.

The two had first got together after Logan had completed touring LYNCH MOB's 1990 'Wicked Sensation' album, working at first with TRIANGLE drummer Jimmy Paxson titled FREEDOM. VIOLET'S DEMISE recorded an album for an intended release in 1995 but this never surfaced.

Robertson's next move was GOD BOX, initiated during 1997. This band included the former WITCH duo of drummer Punky Peru (a.k.a. Perry Bower) and singer Peter Wabbit (real name Peter Allen but for this act renamed Peter Soul). They would be joined by the ROD STEWART band credited bassist Phil Chen. GOD BOX recorded a six-song demo produced by HEART guitarist Howard Leese, which included the WITCH track 'Take Me Away', at Music Box Studios in Hollywood. This set notably featured guest appearances by GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Slash, keyboard maestro Keith Emerson, Howard Leese, and BILLY IDOL guitarist Steve Steven.

Robertson later worked up a Pop orientated band entitled AM RADIO. Logan announced his debut solo album, 'Stranger In A Foreign Land', for release in March 2006. Robertson joined the ranks of DC4 that August.
