Biography

Diversion from SUICIDAL TENDENCIES members vocalist Mike Muir (a.k.a. 'Cyko Myko') and bassist Robert Trujillo. Initially INFECTIOUS GROOVES had drums supplied by former JANES ADDICTION man Stephen Perkins. Guitar on the debut album, 'The Plague That Makes Your Booty Move (It's The Infectious Grooves)', came from Dave Kushner.

Drummer Josh Freese of THE VANDALS, also included in the ranks of SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, enrolled in time for 1993's 'Sarsippius' Ark'. Freese temped for America's hottest ticket PEARL JAM during late 1994 and would also figure in GUNS N' ROSES limbo years and the 2000 success story A PERFECT CIRCLE.

INFECTIOUS GROOVES added the ex-BAD FOR GOOD 17 year old Brooks Wackerman on drums for 1994's 'Groove Family Cyco'. Wackerman would later guest on JUDAS PRIEST guitarist GLENN TIPTON's 'Baptism Of Fire' solo album. Bassist Robert Trujillo joined the OZZY OSBOURNE band before going on to even bigger things with METALLICA.

Ex-guitarist Dave Kushner too leapt into the big time as a member of VELVET REVOLVER alongside ex-STONE TEMPLE PILOTS singer SCOTT WEILAND and GUNS N' ROSES veterans guitarist Slash, Bassist Duff McKagan and drummer MATT SORUM.
