Prior to founding Death Metal formation WARFACE vocalist / bassist Dave Smith and guitarist Laura Christine were both members of DAMNATION. Drummer Scott Ellis is an ex-LIFELESS member. In mid 2002 Ellis decamped and WARFACE pulled in Michael Gotty of VIII FRAUD and Joel Marquez of SADISTIC INTENT and INFITUM OBSCURE as stand ins. Ellis made a return later in the year.

The VILE credited Tyson Jupin enrolled as drummer in July 2006. Deathquake Records issued the album 'Insanity Of The Obsessed' in August.
