Biography

San Jose, Bay Area modern Metal unit SYSTEMATIC, founded in 1996 and debuting five years later with the Peter Collins produced album 'Somewhere In Between', would come to attention as one of the signatures at Lars Ulrich of METALLICA's short-lived attempt at creating a record label. The group featured former TYRANNICIDE guitarist Tim Narducci. Bass player Nick St. Denis was previously a member of BIZARRO and PRO-PAIN.

Original early drummer Phillip Bailey would be substituted by former SAN ANTONIO SLAYER, SACRED REICH and MACHINE HEAD man Dave McClain. However, he would bail out mid tour to return to MACHINE HEAD. His replacement, Shaun Bannon, was subsequently forced out due to injury.

The debut album, 'Somewhere In Between' released in 2001, scored a no. 143 placing on the US national charts.

The band switched to Elektra for recording during 2002 of a second Howard Benson produced album 'Pleasure To Burn' pulling in the high profile figure of erstwhile drummer Paul Bostaph, a veteran of such Thrash legends as FORBIDDEN, TESTAMENT and SLAYER. The group would also shed bassist Nick St. Denis who bailed out to join PRIMATE as guitarist. By September SYSTEMATIC had pulled in former ECHO 3 and MAXIMUM PENALTY bassist John Mark Bechtel (a.k.a. 'Johnny Chow'). A subsequent change shortly after saw the band severing ties with drummer Paul Bostaph due to complications with knee surgery, replacing him with Bostaph's predecessor, Shaun Bannon.

Touring in North America during 2003 saw SYSTEMATIC partnered with SALIVA and STEREOMUD for the Jagermeister nationwide dates. The band also found themselves afforded some unexpected national TV exposure when they performed as backing band to TWISTED SISTER's frontman DEE SNIDER. The group performed TWISTED SISTER's hit 'We're Not Gonna Take It' for actor Arnold Schwarzenegger in his high profile campaign for California State governership.

John Mark Bechtel, joining CORETEZ, left the band January of 2004. Adam Ruppel took time out the following month to act as producer on a six song demo from the Oakland, California based quintet OMISSA. Following a 9th April show in Livermore, California SYSTEMATIC folded. Frontman Tim Narducci wasted no time in establishing a brand new band unit in alliance with the remnants of the San Francisco Bay Area's MANMADEGOD, guitarist Craig Locicero, bassist James Walker and drummer Steve Jacobs. Meantime bassist John Mark Bechtel enrolled into the ranks of Tairrie B's MY RUIN whilst Ruppel forged ahead with DREAMS OF THE DYING. Paul Bostaph joined EXODUS in May of 2005.

Ex-SYSTEMATIC frontman Tim Narducci, on drums and vocals, and ECHO OF SOULS creator Aaron Leigh on bass with Eric Hagen of GREENHOUSE EFFECT united during 2008 to forge the band WHITE WITCH CANYON
