Short-lived, Californian Thrash act BLIZZARD, featuring original EXODUS bassist Carlton Melson, only issued one demo in 1984 but provided the launch pad for some key figures on the scene. In particular, guitarist Larry Lalonde subsequently made his mark in POSSESSED, BLIND ILLUSION and latterly PRIMUS. Drummer Mike Miner served a term with BLIND ILLUSION whilst bassist Jeff Becerra also figured in POSSESSED. Another BLIZZARD bassist, Carlton Melson, turned up as a member of the Tambre Bryant fronted REPULSA.
