San Diego, late 70s Hard Rock band METROPOLIS, known as the La Jolla High School house band, featured future WARRIOR vocalist Parramore McCarty and guitarist Tommy Asakawa alongside future RATT man Robbin Crosby. Pre-METROPOLIS, Asakawa had been involved with BUSTER CHERRY, led by Stephen Pearcy, and subsequently to evolve into MICKEY RATT.

Post METROPOLIS McCarty and Crosby featured with PHENOMENON, releasing a 1980 7" single 'The Final Word'.
