Rancho Santa Margarita, California based ROSWELL SIX, unveiled in 2009 is an ambitious Progressive Rock project conceived by international bestselling author Kevin J. Anderson, manifesting itself with the album 'Terra Incognita: Beyond The Horizon' released by Prog Rock Records. Anderson and his wife, another bestselling author Rebecca Moesta, wrote the lyrics. Keyboard player Erik Norlander, from the LANA LANE band, aided on the production front and writing the music. The science fiction based concept CD featured a booklet with original connecting prose.

Executive Producer Shawn Gordon from ProgRock Records brought together a veritable "supergroup" of talent for the recording. Those involved included vocals by James LaBrie (as the character 'Soldan-Shah Omra'), of DREAM THEATER, Michael Sadler, ex-SAGA, (as the sailor 'Criston Vora'), John Payne ('Captain Shay'), of ASIA, and LANA LANE ('Adrea'). Guitars were provided by Gary Wehrkamp, of SHADOW GALLERY, and Chris Brown, of GHOST CIRCUS, bass by Kurt Barabas, of AMARAN'S PLIGHT, drums by Chris Quirarte, of PRYMARY, violins by David Ragsdale, of KANSAS, cello by Mike Alvarez, and flute by Martin Orford of IQ.
