Biography

MOTHER MERCY was a Californian Hard Rock act fronted by R.J. Blaze. The group's debut EP 'Bad Boyz In Black' featured guitarist Damien Winter, bassist Randall Justice and drummer Sean Scott, although it seems an earlier line-up saw guitarist Beau and bassist Frank Santana employed. An album, 'Love At First Bite', followed in January of 1997. MOTHER MERCY had undergone a complete overhaul after the issue of their second album, 2003's 'Dancin' with The Devil'. Bass player Glenn Cannon was ex-BRAT PRINCE and would also figure as a member of SHATTERED before joining Ann Boleyn's HELLION. The group also featured guitarist Johnny Sicx (a.k.a. John Leiten) and drummer Jimmy Z (Jim Horvath).

Ex-drummer Sean Scott would also join HELLION. RJ Blaze, also known for his tenures fronting DEF LEPPARD tribute bands PYROMANIA and HYSTORIA, would go on to front Metal band JUGULUR. John Leiten hit the club scene with QUEENSRYCHE tribute band PROPHECY. In October of 2004 Glenn Cannon joined the ranks of Van Nuys Power Metal band STEEL PROPHET.

RJ Blaze, Glenn Cannon and Jimmy Z forged Gothic Industrial band HADES INFERNO in January 2005.
