80's Los Angeles Glam act VIRGIN evolved from guitarist Jim Torgeson and drummer Steve Bentley's previous acts CHINA and BARBIE. Initially the band was fronted by David Damien but was replaced by the high profile, Sunset Strip figure of the 'Cathouse's Riki Rachtman. Bass at one stage was handled by a pre-L.A. GUNS Kelly Nichols. A later VIRGIN formation saw Bob Webb on vocals.
