The foursome known as SOULS OF WE, although revealed to the world in early 2008, had in fact been in the planning stages for some four years prior to that date. The unit was led by noted erstwhile DOKKEN and LYNCH MOB guitarist George Lynch and frontman London Legrand, previously singer with BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION. Rounding out the 2008 line-up would be female drummer Yael, having credits with TOM MORELLO and ALEX SKOLNICK TRIO, plus bassist Johny Chow, of SYSTEMATIC and FIREBALL MINISTRY.

Their debut effort, 'Let The Truth Be Known', had been started in 2004 but put on hold when Legrand enrolled into the ranks of BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION, the band featuring Nikki Sixx of MÖTLEY CRÜE and Tracii Guns from L.A. GUNS. After the BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION split, Legrand and Lynch rekindled their partnership and finished work on the record. 'Let The Truth Be Known' was self-produced in various studios around Los Angeles and mixed by the esteemed Mudrock. Guesting musicians included drummer Morgan Rose of SEVENDUST and bassist Fred Leclercq of DRAGONFORCE.

2009 live dates saw the inclusion of Jordan Mancino, from AS I LAY DYING, on drums.
