Biography

Los Angeles Hard Rockband originating out of a project put together by vocalist Dave Aragon and ex-BANG GANG, TKO and CULPRIT bassist Scott Earl. Also involved initially were ex-NUHAVEN guitarist Steve McMasters and BRUNETTE drummer Todd Loomis. Line-up reshuffles eventually saw SHAKE THE FAITH settle on a guitar team consisting of former BLACK N' BLUE and HARLOW guitarist Tommy Thayer and one-time ROYAL COURT OF CHINA man Brian Jennings. The rhythm section featured bassist Kenny Kweens and drummer Danny Parker.

Thayer, after a spell in KISS tribute band COLD GIN, went on to work for the KISS management team before famously replacing ACE FREHLEY in the KISS ranks. Kweens and Parker formed BEAUTIFUL CREATURES with former BANG TANGO and L.A. GUNS frontman Joe Leste and ex-BULLETBOYS guitarist D.J. Ashba. By 2000 this act had retitled itself HELLSTAR.

Kenny Kweens joined the Phil Lewis versions of L.A. GUNS in July 2009.
