Biography

Los Angeles Rockers SHAKE CITY was fronted by Adam Shore, an erstwhile singer for the formative WARRANT, having led that band between 1984 and 1985. Upon leaving WARRANT Shore forged HOT WHEELZ, this band evolving into SHAKE CITY by 1987. The band featured guitarist Michael Blair, cousin of WARRANT's Erik Turner, second guitarist Don E. Sachs, bassist Ray Bailey and drummer Jaycee Cary.

SHAKE CITY played all the familiar Hollywood haunts including the Whiskey-A-Go-Go, The Troubadour, The Roxy, The Central, Coconut Teazer and The Country Club. In 1992 Ethan Gladstone of TAZ replaced Blair.

SHAKE CITY recorded demo tracks working with Erik Turner and BLACK 'N BLUE's Tommy Thayer acting assongwriting partners and producers. WARRANT's Jani Lane also scored co-composer credits. However, SHAKE CITY folded in 1992.

Eonian Records compiled tracks for an eponymous album release in 2009.
