FREIGHT TRAIN JANE

Biography

Post BLACK N' BLUE outfit from vocalist Jaime St James, FREIGHT TRAIN JANE were originally called MADHOUSE and were rumoured in the media to have inked a deal with Columbia Records. The story proved to be false. The group also included ex-WARLOCK guitarist Tommy Bolan and one-time HERICANE ALICE bassist Scotty Werner. Drums were handled by Dave Jones. Prior to FREIGHT TRAIN JANE, St. James had recorded demos under the WET ENGINE moniker immediately after the demise of BLACK N' BLUE.

Jones would be superseded by Skip Teaze. FREIGHT TRAIN JANE recorded the 'Hallucination' album with Pat Regan acting as producer. As the Grumnge movement stifled any forward momentum the group splintered. Bolan moved on to NYC whilst Jones formed Baltimore based BURN. St. James reformed BLACK 'N BLUE and also put in a tenure fronting WARRANT between February 204 and early 2008.
