Vocalist Jessie is ex ACTOR. Guitarist Michael Guy and bassist Tom Rucci are ex SHARK ISLAND. Guy had also been an early member of HURRICANE.

had almost hit the big time in the early '80s when the band she was in back in her native Buffalo, ACTOR, managed to obtain a production deal with A&M Records. Nothing ever came of that particular liaison and she thus moved to Los Angeles via a spell down in Alabama.

Forming FIRE, Jessie found management in Ray Brown, at the time one of the leading designer of band stage clothes and no less than leading producer Michael Wagener to produce the band's demos.

The 1988 version of FIRE included former KAMA members Doug Allen on keyboards and drummer Alex Zander. The latter made way for Jackie Ramos.

Following the split Ramos joined HERICANE ALICE and, with bass playing colleague Ian Mayo subsequently teamed up with ex ACCEPT vocalist David Reece in BANGALORE CHOIR. More recently, Ramos has been part of the BAD MOON RISING rhythm team, whilst Guy was briefly a member of HOUSE OF LORDS.
