Biography
A vehicle for the precocious talents of Irish guitar protege Thomas McRocklin, BAD 4 GOOD also comprised then 16 year old vocalist Danny Cooksey, 14 year old bassist Zack Young and 15 year old drummer Brooks Wackerman. McRocklin was a mere 12. Having first emerged around the time of the Monsters Of Rock festival at Donington in 1988 McRocklin was taken under the wing of his hero STEVE VAI, at the time ensconced in DAVID LEE ROTH's band, who wound up guiding the band and produced the debut album.
Frontman Danny Cooksey was also a budding actor, appearing in the sit-com 'Diff'rent Strokes', the Nickelodeon TV channel's 'Salute Your Shorts' series and a major role in the Arnold Schwarzenegger box office hit 'Terminator 2' .
The band's first single release was a cover of PHILLIP LYNOTT's 'Nineteen'. Following the band's demise McRocklin recorded a solo album.
Brooks Wackerman turned to session work and played on JUDAS PRIEST guitarist GLENN TIPTON's 'Baptism Of Fire' solo album. He would also enjoy a brief try out with OZZY OSBOURNE's band.
