Biography
A hard hitting, modern edged act of Southern California. DEADLIGHTS, forged by vocalist Duke Collins and drummer Jim Falcone, took their band title from a Stephen King novel. Bringing the band up to strength would be guitarist Billy Roan and former SUFFER bassist Jerry Montano. DEADLIGHTS debut album was produced by Sylvia Massey. The band put in touring work to promote the record in America on a package bill with COAL CHAMBER and TYPE O NEGATIVE. They would also score a placing on that year's roving 'Ozzfest' festival. Album sales were not forthcoming though and, dropped by Elektra, DEADLIGHTS splintered.
Bass player Jerry Montano teamed up with NOTHINGFACE and subsequently joined the DANZIG touring line-up. By 2002 Billy Roan had re-surfaced in Atlanta, Georgia with a new band APPARITION. Montano united with erstwhile NOTHINGFACE members, guitarist Tom Maxwell and drummer Tommy Sickles to announce the formation of COLDWHITECHRIST in early 2004.
Jerry Montano joined the reformed NOTHINGFACE in November 2005.
