ASCENSION OF THE WATCHERS is a mood Metal orientated project of FEAR FACTORY frontman Burton C. Bell and the PRONG and KILLING JOKE credited John Bechdel handling bass, keyboards and programming. The duo made their live debut on 6th February 2005 at New York's famous CBGB's club alongside FALSE ICONS and STILL LIFE DECAY. A five track EP, entitled 'Iconoclast', was set for release in two formats, a regular CD version limited to 1000 copies and a restricted run of 500 vinyl in gatefold sleeve.

ASCENSION OF THE WATCHERS released its full-length debut, 'Numinosum', on 19th February 2008 via MINISTRY frontman Al Jourgensen's 13th Planet Records.

ASCENSION OF THE WATCHER performed US concerts opening for KILLING JOKE in October 2008. Throughout November and December the group put in headline dates across Europe.
