Outfit put together by former ATOMKRAFT guitarist Steve White in 1983 with original drummer Steve Smith who was superseded by Brian Waugh for the 1986 album 'Unknown Soldier'. Waugh was later to depart and in came drummer Chris Buggy. In 1989 WAR MACHINE regrouped to record a three track demo after which Mooney departed. Buggy also left to be replaced by Mark Savage who in turn performed drum duties on VENOM guitarist MANTAS solo album. Savage now fronts for XLR8R as lead vocalist.
