70s Rock trio PUSSY was notably produced and managed by DEEP PURPLE frontman Ian Gillan. The group had been formulated by a trio erstwhile members of JERUSALEM, bassist Paul Dean, guitarist Bob Cooke and drummer Ray Sparrow.

The band signed to Ariola Records to record an album. However, Cooke exited and was replaced by American guitarist Brian Goff, who duly re-tracked all the guitar parts. Ian Gillan provided backing vocals. Unfortunately the sessions were never released. PUSSY folded and Goff joined THE SIGHTS.

Rockadrome Records put the PUSSY album sessions out on CD release in January 2009.
