Biography
The Black Metal duo THE AXIS OF PERDITION credit themselves as Tetsuo Unit BRJ delivering vocal corrosion, industrial bleakness and bass with Test Subject MGB on guitar, keyboards and programming. The group was initially formulated as a side adjunct to MINE[THORN], an act active since 1999. Dan 'Storm Monolith' Mullins of EPITAPH, SERMON OF HYPOCRISY, THINE and BROKEN would subsequently man the drums. The debut 2003 album 'Corridors' was issued through Rage Of Achilles Records. Dispensing with drummer Dan Mullins in March of 2004 the group signed a new deal with Code666 Records for the release of their second album. Mullins would go on to THE RAVEN THEORY before joining BAL SAGOTH in July.
THE AXIS OF PERDITION signed to French label Appease Me Records for release of the EP 'Physical Illucinations In The Sewer Of Xuchilbara (The Red God)'. Band members re-activated MINE[THORN] for a 2005 album release. Meantime, Code 666 Records issued the AXIS OF PERDITION album 'Deleted Scenes From The Transition Hospital' in March. UK touring was announced for the Winter but the band then withdrew, citing "intractable work commitments".
Mullins stepped up a league further in February by joining MY DYING BRIDE.
