Highly gifted guitarist MARIO PARGA debuted with a 1989 demo 'Fretstalking'. The 1991 album 'The Magician' brough further attention and by the following year the guitarist had kindled the interest of veteran drummer COZY POWELL.

Powell had just split from BLACK SABBATH and after recovering from breaking his hip from a fall off a horse had resurrected one of his early act's COZY POWELL'S HAMMER. Joining him were his equally esteemed former WHITESNAKE and BLACK SABBATH cohort bassist Neil Murray and singer Peter Oliver.

The latter lasted just one gig and was replaced by another BLACK SABBATH face TONY MARTIN. The band toured Europe billed as TONY MARTIN & FRIENDS. Parga has also recorded an acoustic album with ASIA guitarist Dave Kilminster. This album remains unreleased.

Parga headed up the SAVAGE PARADISE studio act in 2008, this unit featuring ex-BLACK SABBATH vocalist TONY MARTIN, TAKARA and VOX TEMPUS keyboard player Eric Ragno, ALCATRAZZ bassist Tim Luce and drummer Kevin Valentine. Subsequently Martin was replaced by erstwhile RAINBOW singer GRAHAM BONNET.

During 2009 it was learned Parga had formed a musical alliance for the album 'Shadows & Light' with vocalist Lee Small, previously of SHY.
