Biography

Guitarist Manny Charlton was the founder and mainstay of NAZARETH over many years but left the band shortly after their 1990 'Snakes And Ladders' album. Charlton relocated to Texas and debuted with the 'Taster' CD EP before issuing the 'Drool' album recorded with vocalist Neil Miller and drummer Ian Garre.

For live work THE MANNY CHARLTON BAND has the guitarist joined by American musicians singer Shaun Michaels, guitarist Jim Williams, bassist Mike Garcia and drummer Sharkman. Charlton guested on the 2005 album 'Area 605' from Swedish Rockers SPEARFISH. In early 2006 the guitarist joined the Swedish based FROM BEHIND, a unit involving of veteran British Blues Rock singer Nicky Moore, most notably having fronted SAMSON and MAMMOTH, the OVERDRIVE and LOCOMOTIVE BREATH credited guitarist Janne Stark, plus the LOCOMOTIVE BREATH rhythm section bassist Martin Wezowski and drummer Ted Wernersson. Charlton featured on the 2006 album 'Game Over'.
