TEMPEST, based in London, was created during mid 2005 by frontman Paul James, previously of THE NEW ANIMALS, WILD MEN DO and the GLITTER BAND. Keyboard player Mark DeVanche has experience with WILDLIFE, FM and THE NEW ANIMALS whilst bassist Simon Hodges worked with SNAFU. The band also pulled in the high profile figure of SAXON, OLIVER/DAWSON SAXON and TWIN DRAGONS guitarist GRAHAM OLIVER. Drummer Paul Oliver is the son of Graham. TEMPEST signed to Silverwood Records during 2005 for their first album, 'Goodbye To Yesterday'.
