Biography

A Trashy, Glam, Goth band that attracted a great deal of attention for themselves on the London club scene at the turn of the 90s. The band was founded during 1989 in London by American guitarist Steve Von Saint, a former members of ANGELS IN VAIN, an act that spawned L.A. GUNS and FASTER PUSSYCAT bassist Kelly Nickels and Roger Lane and Danny Discipline of THE THROBS.

The KILL CITY DRAGONS managed to release a single and album before early 1992 witnessed frontman Billy G. Bang and former LORDS OF THE NEW CHURCH, SHAM 69 and CHERRY BOMBZ bassist Dave Tregunna being poached by ex-HANOI ROCKS man Andy McCoy for his SHOOTING GALLERY project.

Although new recruits were found in vocalist Johnny Stevenson, ex-DAWN AFTER DARK, and bassist Mark 'Stinky' Anthony, previously with the BOMBSHELLS, within months both men had quit and it all went pear shaped from there. Tregunna formed up the Japanese based SLUMLORDS in 1993 with erstwhile CATS IN BOOTS guitarist Takashi O'Hashi, lead vocalist Billy Dragon and drummer Paul Garisto.

Tregunna created DOG KENNEL HILL with ex-THE QUIREBOYS guitarist Guy Bailey in the late 90's issuing the 'Sweethearts Of The Rodeo' album. Johnny Stevenson relocated to New Mexico in the USA to create solo project SCORPIO 67.
