Lincoln Hard Rock band LOVECHILD was fronted by Jedd Clarc, later to join Nottingham Heavy Metal band WRAITH. The band was initiated in 1986 by guitarists Dom Bescoby and Brian Cradden, bassist Rob Dangerfield and drummer Adrian Wolfe. With the latter's departure, Terry from JAILOR was installed on drums and Raz (a.k.a. Jeremy Clark / Jedd Clarc) from OCEANIA became lead singer. A demo was recorded, after which Wolfe returned on drums to perform the first LOVECHILD gig. The band performed four gigs before folding, Clarc leaving for WRAITH in 1988.

Becscoby reformed LOVECHILD, bringing in new members guitarist Pinch and SIERRA bassist Stu.
