Fronted by ex STRIDER vocalist Rob Hawthorn, LAST FLIGHT had their track 'Dance To The Music' included on the BBC 'Friday Rock Show' compilation album. The track was also released as the A-side of the band's sole single by Heavy Metal Records in 1981.

Following the demise of the band Rob Hawthorn joined ex WHITESNAKE guitarist BERNIE MARSDEN in ALASKA. He also contributed lead vocals to the 'Electric Cinema' solo album from KYOJI YAMAMOTO, the guitar player from Japanese Metal outfit BOW WOW. Hawthorn later joined the cabaret circuit as a ROD STEWART impersonator.
