Biography

An industrious British Black Metal outfit that debuted with the demo 'An Ode For A Haunted Wood'. Between 1991 and 1992 vocalist Jon Richard was previously bass player with CRADLE OF FILTH. The 1999 album saw fresh faces as ex-EWOC vocalist Dean Seddon supplanted Jon, keyboard player Michael made way for Daz and drummer Rob returned to the fold.

The December 2001 mini album 'Miasma' would include a cover version of VENOM's 'Buried Alive'. Bassist Paul F., (a.k.a. 'Adramalech' of REIGN OF EREBUS and THUS DEFILED) opted out in favour of Dylan.

Upon completion of sessions for a new album entitled 'Redimus', vocalist Dean Seddon opted out in February of 2004, citing the band's wish to progress musically as a deciding factor. The album would include a guest appearance by AKERCOCKE frontman Jason Mendonca on the track 'An Eternal Belief'. The band added keyboard player Pete in June. HECATE ENTHRONED underwent further line up fluctuations in November as Dagon of HEATHEN DEITY joined the fold as their new singer.

HECATE ENTHRONED undertook a short UK club tour in December 2006.
