Biography

In March 2006 the GUY-McCOY-TORMÉ band was unveiled for a tour of North America. This trio saw guitarist BERNIE TORMÉ being joined by his former GILLAN partner JOHN McCOY on bass with Robin Guy, holding credits with RAG DOLLS, RACHEL STAMP and BRUCE DICKINSON, on the drums. Tormé's tradition had seen high profile tenures with GILLAN, as quick fire tour replacement for Randy Rhoads during 1982 with OZZY OSBOURNE and TWISTED SISTER frontman DEE SNIDER's DESPERADO. A stream of solo releases followed, along with his involvement in the SILVER band project.

GUY-McCOY-TORMÉ headlined the 'Cliveaid Eire' festival on December 19th at the Radio City venue in Dulbin, Ireland. In July 2008 the group released a picture-disc version of the EP, entitled 'Punko Rocco', featuring two brand new tracks, 'Punko Rocco' and 'Wheel Of Fortune', plus a live version of 'Wild West'. That August it was announced the 'Evil Twin' album was to be distributed by Koch International in the USA in February 2009.

During 2009 all three musicians collaborated with Jim Lyttle to record the comeback ROGUE MALE album 'Nail It'.
