Biography

Debbie Bonham, the sister of the late LED ZEPPELIN drummer John Bonham, briefly appeared in the limelight during 1985. The album, 'For You And The Moon', featured the German band TOKYO en masse including guitarists Robbie Musenbichler and Andreas Becker on guitar, keyboard player Volker Barber, guitarist Graham Foy and bassist Ken Taylor. Musenbichler was later to work with ex-RAINBOW keyboard player TONY CAREY on his PLANET P PROJECT.

By 1991 Bonham was seen fronting the band DESIRE and in 1997 Debbie guested on nephew Jason's 'When You See The Sun' album. She would mark a return in 2002 with a high profile album 'Old Hyde'. Among the special guests donating their services to this outing would be FLEETWOOD MAC's Mick Fleetwood, her nephew Jason Bonham, former ROBERT PLANT band members Dougie Boyle and Robbie Blunt as well as erstwhile PRETENDERS man Robbie Mcintosh. The album included a bonus disc that included cover versions of LED ZEPPELIN's 'Battle Of Evermore', STEVIE WONDER's 'Superstition' and FLEETWOOD MAC's 'Songbird'. Debbie would also be featured as a guest artist on the STEVE MARRIOTT tribute album 'Musn't Grumble'.
